Way back in 1939 in Partizánsky, Slovakia, a shoemaker - who's now very famous - by the name of Jan Antonín Baťa opened his new factory and Novesta was born.
The brands unique plimsoll has gone on to become a very popular shoe in the industry, and of late some guy called Liam Gallagher has been spotted on loads of occasions wearing them.
Each shoe, whether it be the Star Master, Star Dribble or their Marathon Sneaker, Novesta only use natural rubber, 100% cotton and flax, making them high quality and environmentally friendly.
For instance, the rubber sole is pressed using a high pressure machine and molded to the "body" of the shoe. Ecah pair is crafted with precise manual labour. This high-ecological process leaves a trace - a rubber line around the shoe, which so faithfully confirms the quality of a pair of Novesta's.
If you haven't bought yourself a pair of Novesta's yet, luckily enough for you they are available online here
